Today I was really pondering about making games. I want to make a text adventure game! These kinds of games are mainly text based that might come with some gifs and images. I was having alot of trouble. It's like I have so many ideas but im not quite sure how i want to go about anaything. I know I don't just want to rush into some big project because i'll burn out quickly. My plan is to make small projects each with varying degrees of complexity, then make a big game! The problem is that im struggling trying to come up with a good enough plot. There are just so many ways I can go about this that all I can do is just think to myself and raise my cortisol. To make it more of a challenge for myself I didn't want to look at any inspirations, only what comes up in my mind. To me, in order to make something really good, you have to limit yourself a bit. Another thing, I might have to learn a little bit of javascript! Im not really sure if I want to go through the hassle but whatever it take ig. I think I want to make a game invloving some oc's I made one or two years ago. I remember making a text based game a year or two ago. I had just dicsovered you could make games using only text and I got really excited. I made some pixel art of my characters and made the dialogue. Lord, it was so cringe i might kms ngl. But is was kinda camp in a way, but it was still cringe though. I had so many lame jokes but the pxel art was really good cute! I uploaded the game to NewGrounds and it was an...experience. People didn't rate my game high and I got discouraged. Now that i'm better at coding and a way better sense of humor I wanna try doing something similiar. I don't think i'll be able to recreate the original pixel art but I can try.
